  1. I was so very, very happy to get my case of Hatch Chiles today in Dawsonville, GA. They’re already processed and in the freezer … a gorgeous batch! I may sneak out tomorrow for another case. These keep so well in the freezer.

  2. Do you know how they sell it? By the bushel, box or pound? Is there a limit?
We are from NM but visiting GA and will miss green chile season at home!

    1. They were being sold by the pound where I’m at in Snellville. They are 99cents a pound. In all honesty I have never seen them roast any here in GA.

  3. Do you know how they sell it? By the bushel? Box? Pound? Thank you! We are from NM and are vais it gets in GA and will miss our green chile season back home.

  4. When I go home to Colorado I bring some back frozen- like I just did over the July 4th holiday-boy are the GOOD & HOT !!! yum but i live in GA and the 2 places listed are to far to me but every now and again i find them already roasted at Kroger last year at Sprouts (not hot).

  5. Woohoo! No Dawsonville this year, but Cumming isn’t that much more of a drive. Thank you! Get a case ready for me, boys …
And thanks for helping make this horrific year a LOT more tolerable.

      1. Hi!
I’m in Georgia with my mom over the summer, and missing chile season!! Will there be any roasting in the ATL area this year?

      2. Just returned from Colorado and had my dose of green chili, nothing else is the same. Cousins use Select brand, fresh in a bag, which they freeze. Haven’t found anything but canned around ALPHARETTA, GA. What time of year do the fresh arrive in GA! Where?

      3. Born and raised in New Mexico, military has me stationed in Augusta. Will Hatch chile be available here in Augusta??

        1. Looking for Hatch in Augusta, GA. There is a restaurant here that claims Hatch chile on its burgers, but I would LOVE to be able to buy it from the store and not have to risk getting it shipped. Please let me know.

        2. Last summer I went to Kroger in Cumming, GA to purchase hatch chili. They ran out by Friday, so on Saturday I went into the store and purchased what was left unroasted. Any idea if Kroger in N GA will have it again this year?

        3. Just letting you folks know I opened a food truck/trailer called The Daily here in Georgia. If you love hatch Chile you may whant to look us up on Facebook. We are out of Newnan. Real handmade hand rolled sopapillas. Sometimes on FB search @thedailysopapilla

        4. I AM A LONG TIME RESIDENT OF NM THAT HAS BEEN IN SAVANNAH, GA FOR 25+ YEARS. I MISS THE HATCH GREEN CHILI AS THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT. WHERE CAN YOU FIND IT REASONABLY PRICED TO PURCHASE? RECENTLY I FOUND HATCH GREEN CHILI CANS AT HARVEYS SUPERMARKET IN PEMBROKE, GA… I BOUGHT THEM OUT OF WHAT THEY HAD ON THE SHELF.

I WISHED I WOULD OF SEEN THE AD ABOUT UNM COMING TO DECATUR, GA TOMORROW AND I WOULD OF ORDERED IT AND DROVE THERE AND BOUGHT IT, BUT I WAS A FEW DAYS LATE.

        5. Will there be Hatch green Chile roasts and sales in GA locations in 2018? If so, have locations and dates been determined?

        6. Drove to Dawsonville for chile, only to find out that the event has been postponed (grrrr). It would have been nice if your website had bergen updated with this information!!!

        7. so Kroger in Rome had them last year in Georgia….was hoping maybe Marietta or Kennesaw would be roasting this year?

          1. Hi Scarlet. Your best bet would be to call the stores and inquire. These locations are from last year, since I never got an updated last from Kroger. Here is the contact info: Address: 311 E Gwinnett St, Savannah, GA 31401
            Phone:(912) 231-2260
