Harris Teeter Grocery stores in NC VA SC are having Hatch Chile roasting events starting Aug 2019. They have fresh Hatch Chiles at all locations while they are in season but only roasting event at certain locations. Check their Facebook page. Also the produce manager at any Harris Teeter will order you as many as you want $1.29 per pound. I’m just a fan and don’t work for them so call them or check Facebook.
Abundance Annual Pepper Festival in Pittsboro, NC …. come enjoy lots of local peppers. Angelina’s Kitchen will be roasting local Anaheim peppers
Fresh Market and Harris teeter in Fayetteville. Fresh Market does roast them when in season. Also I did find some frozen ones at Trader Joe’s in Cary, I believe they carry that all year.
Will fresh green chilies be coming to NC this year?

Last year was August in Clayton
Harris Teeter usually starts selling them in August as they come into season. If you sign up for their email they will email you the date their roasting events are but usually in August the last few years.
