Apparently Price Chopper is having a Hatch chile and roasting event this Saturday, August 24 from 10 am to 3 pm. $29.99 for a 25 lb box in 6 of its Kansas stores (2 stores in Overland Park, 2 stores in Shawnee, 1 store in Roeland Park, and a store in Leawood). I have a copy of the ad that shows the exact addresses, if anyone wants to contact me for it.
Hi Teresa! I’m counting 5 Price Chopper stores in Overland Park. I looked online but they don’t have full flyers available and I live in Olathe, so I don’t get the OPK flyers! LOL… Can you share the flyer with me or let me know which stores will have the roastings? Thank you! – Darren

Price Chopper on Roe is good, agree with Joe. The Price Chopper off HWY 10 on the way to Lawrence also does a good job. I was able to easily remove the char without losing any chile.
