Daily roasting and fresh hatch all season. All spice levels.
Many Food City stores in Phoenix roast daily during season.
Good to know! Thanks Dwayne
I want extra XX hot , where can I find them. I live in Queen Creek, Arizona
I haven’t heard of anyone with XX hot Margarita. Sorry
I drive to Deming, New Mexico every year to get the XX Hot green chile. You can’t find it here in Arizona.
Food City…. Campbell and Irvington in Tucson has whole chilis and tons of fresh roasted Hatch chilis! So good with a tortilla and cheese ❤
I need some today. Guess ill be standing at the stove, all burners on tongs in hand and a plastic bag by my side. Chino valley needs a location too
Kingman, AZ, roasts it at Smith’s, but not sure when until it’s advertised.
Lia – I updated some of the AZ stores today!
Will there be a vendor in Springerville/Eagar again this year on the side of the road?
I know there are many more locations, such as where I live in Show Low. This is by no means a complete or comprehensive list.
Candace – we can’t win them all… but we have most of them! Whoop! Hope you find your chiles this year
Where can these be found in Flagstaff?
Farmers Market on 4th st usually has them…call to make sure if they’re roasting, or check out their facebook page.
Where can I find frozen Hatch Chilies in Tucson? Sprouts use to sell the but no more.

I’m from IL and we chili from Sante fe every year. Today I’m in Phoenix and leaving in the AM. Where in Phoenix can I get some
Try the farmers markets too. I get mine from Verducci’s (probably spelled wrong…sorry!) in Gilbert on Power Rd. between Warner and Elliot. Buy them by the gunny sack and they’ll roast them for you for a fee.
Got some at Basha’s in Fountain Hills, today.
I only see Tucson location, what about Phoenix?!
Would like to roast my own. Probably can get them at Fry’s in Gilbert, AZ ? Plus how to roast them please…..
What about Prescott?
Hmmmm…. Maybe Sprouts? Stay tuned… we’re working on getting more dates and locations for AZ
Tucson has them at Sprout’s and Basha’s. The medium is pretty hot this year. The hot is very, very hot. Last year the hot was not hot enough for me and I had to find extra hot.
We will visit kids in Phoenix based on dates to buy Anaheim or hatch chili. But we don’t want them roasted. Do you know if we can buy them unroasted? 2020
Yes…Prescott needs this !!!
Hey Ron – Sprouts will have Hatch chiles this year, however, they will not be roasting them at the store.
People in Phoenix do not know how to roast green chili. ?
What the hell you talkin bout willis. My mom was from Las Cruces and she taught us well.
Oh i so agree thats why i roast my own.
We have it at Guadalupe Farmers market 480 730-1945.
I beg to differ.
Here in Pheenix, I and many family, relatives, friends have been roasting Hatch and Anaheims for 50+ years. There’s no mystery to it. On the grill, stove top, oven….whatever is handy.
Where can I find the Chili’s? I live in Santan Valley.

BBQ grill. Place in a large pan after grilling. Don’t burn. Cover with wet towel for steaming until you finish.. Get ready for peeling.

Please: spell the name of our city correctly. It’s Tucson, not Tuscon.
The Albertsons on 32nd St in Yuma does a Hatch green Chile roast every Aug. All the Fry’s stores in Yuma sell it in their produce section from Aug to Oct.
