    1. Food City…. Campbell and Irvington in Tucson has whole chilis and tons of fresh roasted Hatch chilis! So good with a tortilla and cheese ❤

    2. I need some today. Guess ill be standing at the stove, all burners on tongs in hand and a plastic bag by my side. Chino valley needs a location too

    3. I know there are many more locations, such as where I live in Show Low. This is by no means a complete or comprehensive list.

    4. Try the farmers markets too. I get mine from Verducci’s (probably spelled wrong…sorry!) in Gilbert on Power Rd. between Warner and Elliot. Buy them by the gunny sack and they’ll roast them for you for a fee.

    5. Would like to roast my own. Probably can get them at Fry’s in Gilbert, AZ ? Plus how to roast them please…..

        1. Tucson has them at Sprout’s and Basha’s. The medium is pretty hot this year. The hot is very, very hot. Last year the hot was not hot enough for me and I had to find extra hot.

        2. We will visit kids in Phoenix based on dates to buy Anaheim or hatch chili. But we don’t want them roasted. Do you know if we can buy them unroasted? 2020

        3. It’s amazing as I read the comments that more locations aren’t listed. Flagstaff only! Yuck! So many folks have found them locally yet they aren’t listed via your blog. Bashas’ in Sedona roasted for years. We were up there within the past week and nothing. It’s so disappointing not to find them. The aroma is out of this world. I will start calling myself and try to find some.

              1. I beg to differ.
                Here in Pheenix, I and many family, relatives, friends have been roasting Hatch and Anaheims for 50+ years. There’s no mystery to it. On the grill, stove top, oven….whatever is handy.

                  1. BBQ grill. Place in a large pan after grilling. Don’t burn. Cover with wet towel for steaming until you finish.. Get ready for peeling.

                1. The Albertsons on 32nd St in Yuma does a Hatch green Chile roast every Aug. All the Fry’s stores in Yuma sell it in their produce section from Aug to Oct.
