NOTHING as GLORIOUS as Hatch green, and then red, chilies! I’ve been sharing your map on FB for a few years now! KUDOS on getting this gold to the masses!!
Called VG’s in Fenton today, confirmed that they are roasting tomorrow
Any locations in metro detroit for 2017?
If you are able to roast them yourself, the Kroger on Union Lake Rd in Commerce has them for 99 cents per pound. I bought about 40 lbs today and they still had a couple cases left. They’re medium. I roast them on a gas grill whenever I’m able to get them.
I know it’s late in the year,but I’m interested in some hatch Big Jim’s chiles in the Detroit area. Too costly to ship them from New Mexico,so I’m getting desperate to find some!!!
